About Me
I'm Skye Stubbins, an IT professional and Army National Guard veteran pursuing a cyber defense degree at Baker College. My experience includes enterprise desktop support and technical support for Barracuda security products. Through my personal homelab and coursework, I focus on security monitoring, system hardening, network segmentation, and practical documentation.
My focus is defensible infrastructure — zero-trust access, centralized logging and metrics, host and network detection, and automation that makes security repeatable instead of manual.
Today the lab runs containers across hosts (Unraid, TrueNAS, Proxmox) with Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Wazuh, and CrowdSec for visibility, HashiCorp Vault for secrets, and Tailscale plus Cloudflare Zero Trust for access.
